If you are like me, you’re already thinking about the garden and even getting your seeds ready and squared away. I love to talk about the tradition of “tomatoes in by Town Meeting Day”. Town Meeting Day is exactly what it sounds like – the day of the year in Vermont where people gather to discuss municipal issues, elect local civic leaders, and vote on budgets. But it’s also just around the time you should be starting your garden seeds, especially tomatoes. Since the growing season up here isn’t as long as we all would like it to be, getting a head start is important.
